ABC PERMIt Application

 

 

HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE – November 14, 2018

The Department of Alcohol Beverage Control considers the Holiday Open House a “GROUP” event and will not grant any individual permits for the night. All permit requests will be gathered by the DBPA (Kelly Stroman), and submitted to MBPD as a group, after payment is received. Once approved by MBPD, then the Department of ABC evaluates.

 

Deadline to submit is October 5th.  ALL FORMS ARE SUBMITTED ELECTRONICALLY. DO NOT submit paperwork directly to MBPD!

 

BEFORE APPLYING, KNOW THE RULES:

These directions apply to ALL businesses (regardless of type or location in DTMB), other than restaurants with a valid ABC permit. NO catering permits are valid for the night of Holiday Open House.

FIRST-review the required fees and rules. NO applications will be considered unless ALL forms, fees, (including HOH fee), + Landlord Letter have been received electronically.

The COMPLETE ABC application packet is due no later than 10/5/18. No exceptions. NO REFUNDS.

 

FEES

  • $125 fee for the ABC Permit, wristbands, extra security detail and associated costs

  • $100 Participant Contribution for Holiday Open House entertainment, and the entire November/December Marketing + Advertising campaigns.

(All businesses are required to pay thE $100 Holiday OPen House FeE, regardless of requesting an ABC PERMIt)

  • TOTAL (ABC + HOH) = $225, ALL PAYMENTS ARE PROCESSED ONLINE VIA FORM SUBMISSION

ABC PERMIT RULES

You must submit a completed ABC Permit Rules form. Completed forms can be attached to the ABC Permit Application Form, below.

LANDLORD AUTHORIZTION

You must provide a signed letter from your Landlord authorizing your business to serve wine/beer during HOH on November 14, 2018 from 6-9pm ONLY. No hard alcohol allowed!  Signed Landlord Authorization Letters can be attached to the ABC Permit Application Form Below.

ONLY 25 applications will be accepted, First come first serve.

 

  • A location that has not applied to serve under the group permit and decides to serve, please know they will be shut down, ticketed and fined by MBPD

  • These rules are in place to keep the evening safe, fun, festive and for DTMB businesses to be able to offer this again next year. Please respect the guidelines. Your permit is NOT transferrable; so only apply if you are serious about serving
